Every result you race lands on your profile, counts toward championships and feeds one number: your R4W rating.
Your result
When the final is saved, Results lists every category as Completed or In progress: your position, how many places you gained or lost on your seed, and how far you got. With Race results notifications on, you're told once the results have settled — the next morning.
Championship standings
In a championship, every result earns points by finishing position. Standings adds them up per class, with the gap, your form and how far everyone moved after each race.
Points systems
Standard (100, 80, 60…), linear, CND, Eurotour or the organizer's own table.
Best N of M
Some championships only count your best results. The others stay visible, marked as dropped.
Ties
Riders level on points are split by the championship's tiebreak rule, explained under the table.
The R4W rating
One number from 40 to 100 that sums up your racing, built from every result on R4WRUN. It's free, it's on your profile and your rider card, and it's the same number on every screen.
How it's built
- Five axes, each 0–100: Results (where you finish — bigger fields count more), Qualifying (your single-lap pace against the field), Heats (your place in every heat, and how often you go through), Racecraft (finishing ahead of your seed) and Consistency (how steady your results are).
- Weighted: Results 35%, Qualifying 25%, Heats 20%, Racecraft 10%, Consistency 10%. An axis you've never had the chance to score on is left out, not counted as zero.
- Recent results and strong fields count more: a result keeps full weight for 12 months, then halves every year (never below 0.3), and beating a deep field counts for more than winning a small local race.
- New riders start near the middle: with only a few races your score is pulled toward 50, so one great weekend can't make you a 95.
- The scale: the result is mapped onto 40–100.
On the boards
You need 4 races, one of them in the last 24 months, to be ranked. Under 4 races your rating is provisional.
Time off
Time off never lowers your number. Riders who haven't raced for two years are just parked off the boards until they're back.
Reliability
The Reliability chip — Provisional, Emerging, Established or Proven — says how much racing stands behind the number.
Rating Journey
After 3 rated events, your Rating Journey replays your rating after every event, with your peak and season high.
